Welcome to the Journal of Systems Integration

Journal of Systems Integration contributes to the development of both theory and practice in the field of system integration. System integration involves complex technological and human issues that are of critical importance for the effectiveness and competitiveness of organizations in today’s globalized and interconnected world. We hope that the Journal of Systems Integration will assist you in finding solutions to such issues.

We seek original contributions for the following topics:

• Business Informatics and Information Systems
• IT Governance and IT Security
• Knowledge Management and Business/Competitive/Computational Intelligence
• Software Engineering and Databases
• Internet and Web Applications
• Legal and Social Aspects of Information Systems

We also accept book reviews and short notes about important IT events.

Journal of Systems Integration is published as an open on-line journal by the Czech Society for Systems Integration (CSSI). CSSI was founded in the year 1994 by the Department of Information Technology at the University of Economics, Prague and is the organizer of annual International Conference on Systems Integration and various professional seminars.

Editorial board of the Journal of Systems Integration consists of international experts and our aim is to maintain high standard and to achieve international recognition in the field of Information and Knowledge Management.

Journal of Systems Integration is published quarterly on 31 January, 30 April, 31 July and 31 October, but we accept submissions at any time. Each paper will be reviewed by two independent reviewers using double-blind reviews. Submissions in English language are preferred.
