Author Guidelines

The author is responsible for scientific accuracy, originality, and the formal appropriateness of the article. If the submitted article has been published in another journal, it cannot be accepted. The editorial board has the right to refuse publication of the article. We recommend that the author(s) define the thematic field in which the article fits, but the board of editors makes the final decision regarding its positioning.

Each paper is briefly assessed by one of the Journal editors, who checks whether the paper satisfies the journal requirements. If it does, they send the manuscript to two referees. On receiving both referee reports, the editor decides either to accept or reject the paper (in the case of similar referee recommendations) or to request a third report (if the two referees disagree). The editor may also send the manuscript back to the authors for substantive revision and re-submission without consulting the referees. The journal does not have article processing charges.

Papers must be written in MS Word text editor version 2003 or higher and respect the SI-journal template. The paper should not exceed 20 typeset pages (1,800 characters per page, including spaces) in length. Papers are not rewarded.

Submission is completed upon receipt of a confirmation e-mail. The journal does not have article submission charges.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice

The JSI journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. All authors submitting their works to the JSI journal for publication as original articles attest that the submitted works represent their authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The authors acknowledge that they have disclosed all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it. In the same manner, the JSI journal is committed to objective and fair double-blind peer-review of the submitted for publication works and to prevent any actual or potential conflict of interests between the editorial and review personnel and the reviewed material.
